Lunc Tools World Wiki

Build Mode is the creative heart of Lunc Tools World. Once you own a world, you gain access to Build Mode, where you can design and customize your space tile by tile.

Build Mode allows Builders to:

• Place walls, floors, and decorative items.
• Shape their world square by square.
• Control how visitors experience their environment.

Build Mode is simpler on desktop, with intuitive controls:

• Pan – Middle mouse button.
• Zoom – Scroll wheel.
• Rotate – R key.
• Deselect – Right mouse button.
• Hover Preview – See placement before committing.
• Paint Placement – Hold down the mouse button to place items in bulk.

Build Mode is also available on mobile, though less advanced than desktop:

• Select Item – Tap the item from the Build Mode menu to choose it.
• No Preview – Items do not show a preview before placement.
• Deselect – Tap the black background at the top of the Build Mode menu.
• Rotate – Use the rotate button before placing an item.
• Paint Placement – Press and hold to place items in bulk.

*Note: Mobile building may be improved in the future, but currently this is the main limitation compared to desktop.*

The Tools Tab provides options for editing and managing your world:

• Floor Remover – Removes floor tiles.
• Wall Demolisher – Removes walls.
• Object Remover – Removes placed items.
• Remove Spawn Point – Deletes spawn points.
• Complete Demolish – Clears any wall, floor, or item in a square.
• Spawn Point Tool – Sets where visitors appear when entering your world.
  • Multiple spawn points = random selection.

Items placed in Build Mode are decorational and free to use once you own a world. For advanced items (interactive, signage, bots, etc.), see the Item Shop Guide.

Items purchased from the Item Shop are stored in the Inventory System. From there, they can be placed, rotated, picked up, or interacted with depending on their type.

Build Mode is where creativity comes alive in Lunc Tools World. It gives Builders the tools to design unique spaces, set spawn points, and create environments for others to explore. For advanced features, see:
