Chat

The Chat system in Lunc Tools World allows players to communicate across worlds and within local spaces. It combines a global chat window with local speech bubbles to make conversations feel both broad and personal.

πŸ’¬ Global Chat Window

Each world, as well as the lobby, has its own chat channel.

  • Always visible on screen with an input box.
  • Loads the last several messages when entering a world (not the full log).
  • Includes activity messages when users enter or exit a world, giving presence context.

πŸ—¨οΈ Speech Bubbles (Local Chat)

Messages also appear above players’ heads as speech bubbles.

  • Helps players have local conversations in busy worlds.
  • These messages still appear in the global chat log.
  • Creates a more personal and immersive chat experience.

πŸ‘₯ Interaction Menu

Players can click directly on other users to open an interaction menu. From here, they can:

  • Send Friend Request – connect with other players.
  • Trade – exchange items in real time (see Trading).

Summary

The Chat system combines global communication with local presence, making conversations flexible and immersive. It also connects directly to other community features such as Trading and Friends System.
